What is Scentsy?
Scentsy is a wickless candle warming system. Instead of using a flame to release the fragrance of Scentsy's candle wax, we use a 25 watt lightbulb in a beautiful ceramic Scentsy warmer. Host a Party! close
Hosting a Scentsy party is a great way to earn free and discounted Scentsy products! There are several different ways that you can do this:
- Online Party: An online Scentsy party is a great way to earn free Scentsy! If you have family and friends far from where you live, or if you are simply always on the go, this is the party for you. Your consultant will send you a "e-vite" to e-mail your guests informing them about the Scentsy party you are planning. They can then go to www.scentsy.us/amwheatley and click on your party name. They will be directed right to the catalog and whatever products they choose to purchase go toward your party, earning you free Scentsy! - Scentsy Basket Party: The scentsy basket party is basically a catalog or book party. I will supply you, the hostess with a set of mini scent testers, order forms and catalogs. If you simply do not want to have to deal with the hassle of having a party in your home, this is a great alternative.
- Scentsy Home Party: A Scentsy home party is an event that would be held in your home, or other location. This type of party lasts no more than 90 minutes. Invite all your friends, family, and associates for a quick, fun evening out! My demonstration is small and easy. I bring a kit of scent testers and warmers to allow everyone the chance to smell our fragrances and experience Scentsy first hand. You will be amazed how much fun your guests have smelling our testers!
- Scentsy Open House: A scentsy open house is very similar to a home party. It lasts slightly longer, usually about 3 hours, and your guests are free to arrive and leave as they need to.

A: A Scentsy warmer is not your traditional candle. There is no flame or wick. Scentsy warmers use a small lightbulb inside the base of the porcelain warmer to melt the wax inside the dish of the warmer. This melted wax then releases its fragrance into your home or office space.
A: The size of light bulb that is appropriate for you Scentsy warmer depends on which size of warmer you own. The Scentsy full-size warmer uses a 25-watt light bulb, the mid-size warmer uses a 20-watt light bulb, and the plug-in warmer uses a 15-watt light bulb. One light bulb comes with each warmer. Replacement light bulbs can be purchased through Scentsy.
A: Scentsy uses a food -grade petroleum wax. This is the same kind of wax that many grocery stores use on their fruits and vegetables. Scentsy has tested a non-petroleum wax, but has found that it does not hold the fragrance that our current wax can handle. However, because Scentsy wax is melted and not burned, no toxins are let into the atmosphere. The wax does not deposit on ceilings, wall, or lungs.
A: Each Scentsy bar is 3.2 fl oz. of wax. Each Scentsy brick is 17 fl. oz. of wax.
A: Scentsy estimates that the scent of each melted cube lasts approximately 80 hours. (There are 8 cubes in each Scentsy bar). This varies depending on how often you turn on your warmer and how strong you like your scent.
A: When the wax in your warmer is no longer fragrant, simply pour it into the garbage and wipe out the warmer dish with a paper towel or napkin. If you want to switch scents and there is still fragrance left in the wax you are using, carefully pour the melted wax back into the Scentsy bar mold and let it set up. After cleaning out the dish, put in your new scent.
A: As many as you choose! The more cubes of wax that are placed into the Scentsy warmer the stronger your fragrance will be. The plug-in warmer is designed to only hold about 1 cube of wax.
A: Your Scentsy starter kit is priced at $99.00. (This does not include tax or shipping) See my "join" section for kit contents.
A: There is no monthly contract or fee with Scentsy. However, to remain an active Scentsy consultant you must place at least one $150.00 order in a single month, once every three months. There is no penalty of fee if you fail to do so, but you will no longer be considered an active consultant.
A: Yes! Each consultant is provided a 3-month, free trial of a personal website through Scentsy when they enroll as a consultant. Should the consultant choose to keep her personal website after the initial 3-month period there is a $10.00 monthly charge. This subscription can be cancelled at any time. Each consultant is also allowed one external website should they choose to build one. Scentsy's approval is required before the external website is launched. Scentsy is not to be sold on e-bay or other auctioning websites.
A: No. Scentsy can be sold at home or basket parties, or at a temporary show or event. Consultants can also sell product online. Selling at a retail location is prohibited unless it is for a temporary show or event.
A: Scentsy consultants are required to pay for all product us front, and then will be issued a commission check with credit for each product sold on the 10th of each month.
A: Because Scentsy is your business, the possibilities of what you will earn are really endless, and in your control. Each new consultant makes a 20% commission on each product sold. After reaching the level of "certified consultant" they will receive 25% commission on each product sold. When you have new recruits sign up to join your Scentsy team you will also make a commission off of products that they sell. Scentsy doesn't believe in just recruiting and forgetting consultants. When you sign up for Scentsy you are signing up to be mentored, supported and trained by me, and by the rest of the Scentsy community! Scentsy holds an annual convention and several training and networking events throughout the U.S. Training calls, an online consultant forum and web-based training will also be available to you through Scentsy. As your sponsoring consultant, I would be available 7 days a week through e-mail and by phone to answer questions and/or concerns.

Are you looking for an easy, smart fundraising experience? Organize a Scentsy fundraiser with me today! A Scentsy fundraiser is easy to pull off and perfect for just about any type of organization. Scentsy is simple and fun product to sell, and you will be surprised at how easy it is to earn the money that your organization needs.
Choose a fundraiser that works best for your organization:
Traditional Fundraiser: I will send you all the necessities (catalogs, order forms, fliers, collection envelopes, and samples of our fragrances) and your organization will then be responsible to just go out and get the orders. After several weeks I will collect the order forms from you and place your fundraising order.
Online Fundraiser: An online fundraiser can be done if you do not have the man power to go out an get orders, or if you simply do not have the time. Orders can be placed on my website under your name and the product will be sent straight to your contributor.
**It is harder to be successful with this type of fundraiser because of the lack of one-on-one contact and there will be no samples available to smell.
Fair or Event: If your organization would like to set up a booth at a fair or event I would love to help you. If you are local I would be happy to come and help with your event. If not, I would be happy to walk you through everything you need to know. At the end of the event I will collect the orders from you and place the fundraising order.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery can be done in several ways.
1) If you are local, I will bring the products to the leader of the organization already sorted and ready to go out to your contributors. There is no shipping fee.
2) If you not local to the Northern Utah area, the entire fundraiser can be ordered in a group or "party" order. It will then be shipped directly to the fundraiser organizer and they will be responsible to sort out the orders correctly into bags and label them for members of their group to deliver. There is no shipping fee for fundraisers done this way.
3) Alternatively, each order can be placed individually and shipped directly to each contributor. This completely eliminates the middle man, however there are shipping fees that apply, (see FAQ). Your group will also be responsible for getting correct addresses to me for each order.
How much will your organization earn?
I donate my entire commission to your cause when you do a Scentsy fundraiser with me. This means your group will earn 25% of every single product sold. On average a single order will be between $25-$40. If your group had a goal to collect 100 orders you would be earning an average of $625-$1000. At the conclusion of your fundraiser a check payment will be made to the organization. The possibilities are endless!
